Welcome to the Nexus Sodalium of the Classical Association of New England!
We hope that this Ning network will become a vibrant hub for members and non-members alike to discover everything that's happening in CANE! If you're interested in helping develop this network, please message Roger Travis, CANE webmaster, for admin status here; in the mean time, this network is open to all lovers of antiquity, so sign up and dig in!
One of the things Ning makes very easy is RSS, which just means that you get notifications in your newsreader or your e-mail when something is happening. The easiest thing to do is to click the little green RSS button next to the newsfeed at the bottom of this page, and follow the steps to make sure you're always up to date with CANE. Please feel free contact me for help in setting up your reader software.
Online graduate/advanced undergrad Latin at UConn in Spring 2011
The UConn classics program is beginning to move towards offering advanced Latin (undergrad or grad depending on student need) online in the spring of 2011. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who thinks he or she might be interested in such a thing. To be completely clear, at UConn "online" means asynchronous--that is, no scheduled meetings, allowing you to complete course activities on your own schedule. --Roger Travis
